On Tuesday, April 4th, Uplay successfully completed their 4th Community Connect event on the DGPT. The program was led by Uplay's Pro Ambassadors, including Ella Hansen, Juliana Korver, Jim Oates, Thomas Gilbert, Ali Smith, Raven Klein, and Holyn Handley, who taught 100 students between the ages of 14-18 years old at Glencliff High School.

The event was made possible through the efforts of local disc golf community member, Wil McKaskle, who connected Uplay with Jonah Cavalier, a member and teacher at Glencliff School. It is worth noting that Nashville's disc golf community is unique in that there is a group of dedicated adults who are working together to build youth clubs and tournament scenes in the area.

Over a 4-hour period, the Uplay team provided instruction, demonstrations, and skill drills to students, who were enthusiastic about learning the basics of disc golf. The timing of the event was perfect for Glencliff and other local schools, and the teachers at Glencliff have committed to sharing and donating extra disc golf equipment to neighboring schools and youth clubs.

The impact of Uplay's Community Connect program is significant, and the organization is committed to sharing updates from Music City club leaders as they continue to pilot these programs for kids. Uplay is grateful for the support received for this outstanding CC program.
The success of the event is evidenced by the positive feedback received from teachers, who were impressed with the professionalism and effectiveness of Uplay's teaching methods. It is clear that Uplay's Community Connect program is making a positive impact in Nashville, and the organization is excited to continue their efforts in promoting the sport of disc golf to youth across the city.
