One of the greatest measures of success for a Uplay Community Connect event is what happens after our coaches leave. At our recent Community Connect during the Ledgestone Open in Peoria, Illinois, that success was on full display.
As the campers returned from lunch, staff members immediately continued playing disc golf with the children using the equipment that had just been donated. Seeing the excitement continue long after the clinic ended was exactly what our Community Connect program is designed to accomplish. Staff shared that they were excited to make disc golf a regular activity at future Kids Connection camps, creating opportunities for hundreds of children to experience the sport for years to come.
This event was made possible through the incredible collaboration between Uplay, the Disc Golf Pro Tour, and our generous equipment partners in Dynamic Discs, Trash Panda, UDisc, & Infinite Discs. Strong communication and shared commitment from everyone involved helped create an unforgettable experience for these young participants.
Additionally, every camper was invited to attend the FREE UDisc Family Event that evening and received tickets to spectate at the Ledgestone Open with their parents or guardians throughout the week. Connecting young players directly to the professional side of our sport creates lifelong memories and strengthens our disc golf community.

Every Community Connect event is about much more than teaching disc golf for a day.
